Improper Washdown
Procedures: The MTS Aggregate
Filtration System was designed at the
request of our customers due to an age-old
problem - improper wash down procedures.
The use of high pressure and hot water
causes major water intake in the aggregates.
This leads to premature bearing failure
due to inadequate lubrication, no oil-to-water
separation, and a breakdown of viscosity.
Lack of Greasing
Detection and Contamination with Oil Due
to Damaged Seals: Contamination
of glue, water, metal particles, etc.
in the oil creates a paste which adheres
to bearing surfaces and prevents oil flow
due to the clogging of pump components.
Installation
The MTS Aggregate Filtration
System is designed for all types of cold
glue labeler aggregates, with some small
modifications to be performed on your aggregate
at your next aggregate overhaul. Depending
on the type of aggregate (please specify
series type & configuration), retrofitting
of your unit can be performed in your plant.
